What is CLANZ?

CLANZ is an organisation that provides support and networking opportunities for community language schools.

What are the objectives of CLANZ?

• to establish a network of community language teachers and schools across New Zealand/Aotearoa
• to act as advocates for members on community language issues
• to initiate professional development seminars
• to provide a forum for discussion
• to liaise with other professional and community organisations
• to provide input into regional and national issues affecting community language development e.g. government policies

The value of the mother-tongue should not be underestimated.
