Private Language School SIG

TESOLANZ moved closer to the creation of a private language school SIG with the passing of the following motion at the 2008 AGM:

Moved [M Jeurissen, J Bedford] That TESOLANZ initiate the establishment of a private language school sector group. Carried with abstention from OTAGOTESOL

However, to be operative, the SIG needs members and a co-ordinator. Anyone interested in taking part or helping with the organisation should contact the Exec SIG Liaison Denise McKay Email. TESOLANZ QUERY TO TEC

The TESOLANZ Exec has asked why Student Component Funded courses for PTEs must be level 3 and above, and how this relates to ESOL. There is also a problem in designing courses for ESOL students if work and higher study outcomes are required.
