TESOLANZ Executive nominations open

POSTED ON 2 August 2022

Kia ora TESOLANZ members,

Branches are invited to nominate TESOLANZ members to the TESOLANZ Executive for the following positions:

  1. President (elect)
  2. Committee Position (Publications)

Note about the President (elect) position – This position will only become open if the AGM votes to support a proposal to change the Executive structure to allow for Presidents to be elected in an overlapping fashion. Currently, the President is elected in a non-overlapping 3-year cycle. This proposal will suggest that in the outgoing President’s 3rd year, and incoming President comes onto the Executive (1st year). Thereby creating an overlap for Presidents and enabling a transition period.

  • 25 July, 2022 – Call for nominations open
  • 16 September, 2022 – Nominations close
  • 19 September, 2022 – Results announced and election process opens
