TESOLANZ writes to the Minister re. Covid-19 impacts

POSTED ON 15 October 2020

TESOLANZ has written to the Ministry of Education regarding how Covid-19 has impacted our sector.

TESOLANZ believes there are significant concerns for the future of English Language/ESOL provision within Aotearoa, New Zealand. If these concerns are not addressed, then the academic experiences of learners will be impacted. Also, if current job losses in the English Language sector (which operates across all sectors of education) continue, we fear for the future of provision in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

TESOLANZ hopes the Minister will take the time to consider our letter. Any response from the Minister will be posted to the website.
