Review Advisory Group and Working Panel expressions of interest

POSTED ON 12 November 2022

The NZCEL review, EAP and EL standards review will begin in the first quarter of 2023.

If you have sent through your Expressions of Interest as a member to the Review Advisory Group or Working Review Panel, thank you for your diligence. Having a representative voice from the community in which you manaaki and advocate for is important to ensure the qualifications and unit standards on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) are current and fit for purpose.

These review cycles provide an opportunity to consider the current and future landscape of the English language space and updating, expire or develop new qualifications and unit standards accordingly to meet the needs of ākonga.

Please be mindful that expression of interests for the reviews close Friday the 18th of November 2022. Download the EOI form: Expression-of-Interest-NZCEL-Review-Form

The review includes nine NZCEL qualifications, 10 English for Academic Purposes (EAP) unit standards and 69 English Language (EL) unit standards from Level 1 (Foundation) – Level 4. The suite of qualifications is listed under the NZQA “English Language qualifications” found here: https://www.nzqa.govt.nz/qualifications-standards/qualifications/english-language-qualifications/
